We provide online telehealth services. It’s therapy from the comfort of your home!

Do you live in a remote area, struggle with transportation, or need additional options to connect with therapy services?

Telehealth is a therapy option that a growing number of people are choosing for it’s ability to offer distance counseling. Just like conventional therapy where the client meets the therapist in the office, client’s can address a variety of issues of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Relationship issues
  • Parenting issues

Online therapy services are offered through a secure web-portal that allow clients to connect with the therapist, virtually, for sessions while maintaining their confidentiality. Requirements are a smart phone, tablet, computer, or other electronic device that is connected to the internet.

While telehealth is a safe and effective method of providing therapy, there are some clients who may not be appropriate for distance therapy. If you have severe psychological and emotional problems, like depression with suicidal behaviors, schizophrenia, or are having a manic bipolar episode, telehealth services are not recommended, as you will get more out of traditional therapy.

While telehealth can be a great resource, it does have some differences from talk therapy that you should be aware of, such as:

  • Nonverbal communication like body language is limited in virtual settings.
  • Confidentiality is not as secure as an in-office visit.
  • Delays due to internet connection and service.
  • Difficulty addressing more severe symptoms and concerns.
  • Insurance policies vary greatly, where you may not have coverage for telehealth therapy.

IMPORTANT: Not all insurance companies will cover this service. Cash pay clients and clients with policies that allow for online therapy are able to use this service at this time. Fees do not change based on face-to-face or telehealth therapy.
