You are about to reach the end of your rope!

Life is chaos. And the daily grind has become a sick joke. Your stress and anxiety is crippling.

The stress is unbearable, and anxiety has high-jacked your brain. Every day you struggle to focus, you’re forgetting important things, and you feel like you could explode any second. The tension never ends, even when you try to sleep.

While anxiety and stress are normal in everyday life, this isn’t what you experience. Instead of your body surging appropriately to things like starting a family or a new career, you feel danger lurking around every corner.

The uneasiness and fatigue never go away, making it harder and harder to motivate, and you walk around feeling like you’ve been hit by a truck. Your mind is stuck in go-mode. The conflict of wanting to succeed and excessive doubt keep you frozen in overthinking things and, at times, cause you to flip your lid.

And you just want it to stop!

Unrelenting stress and anxiety have already stolen the enjoyment in life. Singing in the car doesn’t happen anymore. You’ve quit being silly and fun. And you cannot remember the last time you had a good gut-busting belly laugh.

Life has become bland, boring, and uninspiring, yet something you fear. You don’t dare step out of the norm because anxiety is bossy and tells you lies!

You feel like something is wrong with you because you keep cancelling plans, you’ve missed multiple opportunities, you feel alone and as if you are not part of everyone else’s reality. You just know that everyone sees you as crazy, lazy, unreliable, and unable to make a simple decision. And no matter how many times someone tells you not to worry, your insecurities take over and you continue to seek approval from others.

The negative thoughts, like an inner critic, tell you that you aren’t good enough. You feel shame and wouldn’t dare let anyone else know what goes through your head – the dark, destructive thoughts that get louder at night in a crippling self-torture.

You’ve tried to manage everything and keep it together. No matter where you go you are a slave to the anxiety, the stress rules you. Every day leaves you feeling like you have taken one step forward and 10 steps backward.  The critic reminds you that you are inadequate and continue to fail. And you’re losing hope. You can’t continue living in survival mode with your brain stuck on every little thing you have done wrong your entire life.

And here’s a fun twist……stress and anxiety have become best-friends and tend to show up together.  Where there’s one, there’s the other, waiting for you like prey.

Ongoing stress turns you into a perfectionist, except when you fear failure and impulsively seek comfort in food, alcohol, increased sleep, and avoidance of adulting responsibilities. The longer this goes on, you begin feeling panic, like an immediate attack that comes from out of nowhere.

Anger and frustration mounts as you live in a constant state of overwhelm. Everywhere, everything is a risk and it is getting harder and harder to see any benefits. You don’t know whether you should fight it, hide from it, or run from it…..but anxiety is always there!

You would do anything to have your life back!

For years you have been waiting impatiently for something to swoop in and make life easier. And now you are at a point where you want to have a more active role in your happiness. You are ready to take control of the draining chaos of negative, critical thoughts.

By getting out of your own head, you can end the viscous cycle, stop overreacting, and get out of the funk. Because you know it’s not actually the stress that keeps you trapped, it’s your responses to the stress and the constant, never-ending anxiety.

It’s time to stop being your own worst enemy.

Anxiety and depression treatment can help you understand your stressors more, and your reactions to them. You can learn self-compassion that allows you to make mistakes and experience life with more rational expectations.

You will no longer have to feel like you need to entertain people for recognition, and you will realize that you are already enough.

Imagine yourself being able to live instead of just survive….strong enough to drown out the negative, cycling thoughts….having confidence that you can handle pretty much anything….you can control your emotions, reactions, thoughts, and anxiety….you can reengage with life! This may sound amazing and out of reach, BUT it can become your new reality.

We can work together to call a truce with your stress and anxiety and forgive the bully aspects!

Therapy can help you feel empowered as you learn to understand your thoughts and reactions. You can build skills to prevent overwhelm from stress, allowing you to actually live life. Therapy can also help you realize your inner conflict. You can discover self-assurance, stress-proof resilience, and anxiety-reducing practices.

Stress and anxiety do not have to ruin your life. It’s time to get your life back, to kick anxiety and stress out for good!

We can do this work together.
